Happy Birthday John!

On March 26th, 1962, John Houston Stockton was born in Spokane, Washington. Stockton would eventually graduate from Gonzaga University in his hometown of Spokane and lead the bulldogs with just under 21 points per game (ppg) and an astounding 57% field goal percentage his senior year.

Stockton would be drafted 16th overall in the 1984 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz. He would call Utah his home for his entire 19 season career. As a member of the Utah Jazz, Stockton would shatter the record books in both career assists (15,806) and career steals (3,265). Both are records he currently still holds. He would end his career with a career double double, averaging 13 ppg and 10.5 assists per game (apg).

Upon retiring in 2003, the Jazz retired Stockton’s #12 jersey (although we brought it back!), named the road outside of the team’s arena John Stockton Drive and even memorialized him as a bronze statue outside of the arena as well. If having a bronze statue wasn't enough, Stockton was also a 10 time NBA All-Star selection, a 2 time All-NBA first team selection, a 5 time All-defensive 2nd team selection and a 2 time Gold medal winner as a part of Dream Team I and Dream Team II in the 1990s. Stockton was nominated to the Basketball Hall of Fame on April 6th, 2009 and was formally inducted on September 11th.

Happy 48th John!

Coming Soon, Purple and Gold

A lot of our spring apparel will be delivering soon so we're currently getting in lots of prototypes and samples which we are happy to share with you.

Earlier this week we got some Lakers jersey samples that we're pretty excited about.

First up, we've got the 1984 - 85 NBA Champions.  This was the season when the Lakers finally beat their rivals, the Boston Celtics, in a 6 game series.  Which remeinds us, if you haven't watched Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals on HBO you should.  We highly recommend it.  Anyway, back to the Lakers jersey.  No, you're not seeing things, that is a James Worthy jersey that you're looking at.  We've been getting requests for him for awhile now and we're happy to finally be able to make this one.  Of course we're offering Magic too.  Look for these in time for the Lakers next Championship run.

The next Lakers jersey is one that we've made before but we've been out of for awhile.  It's the 1996 - 97 Kobe Bryant.  This was Kobe's rookie year and it was also the year that the league celebrated their 50th Anniversary.  That's why the logo man is gold on this jersey.  This one will also be available during the playoffs.

Look for more sample images soon!

Coming Soon

As a company full of Phillies fans this hurts a little, but it's only fair.

And since 2008, it doesn't hurt quite as much.

Yes, it's the 1993 Toronto Blue Jays Home Jersey.  It's the one that Carter was wearing when

he hit the home run.

It will also be available in Paul Molitor, who was the MVP of the 1993 World Series.

Look for it in early May.
