A couple of weeks ago we got a bunch of the MLB mesh BP jerseys in. This White Sox one was a late arrival but is available now. Enjoy.
On July 30, 1988, Alan Page, former Minnesota Viking, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Page won a scholarship to the University of Notre Dame. There he earned college football All-American honors for his achievements in 1966. In 1967, Page was the Minnesota Vikings' second pick in the first round of the first combined AFL-NFL draft in 1967. He was the starting right defense tackle in his fourth game and remained a regular throughout the rest of his 238-game career. Page's defensive tackle approach was both confident and effective. He once said, "If you're going to make a mistake, make it aggressively."
In 1971, Page was named the National Football League's Most Valuable Player, as well as the league's Defensive Player of the Year in 1971 and 1973. He acquired some amazing statistics throughout his career in the NFL. He recovered 23 opponents' fumbles, and unofficial figures show that he also blocked 28 kicks and recorded 173 sacks. He set a career-high in sacks with 18 in 1976 and is unofficially credited with 5 other seasons with 10 sacks or more. Page was voted to nine straight Pro Bowls, and he was named to an all-conference team ten times. Page played for the Vikings from 1967-1978 and then with the Chicago Bears from 1978-1981.
While playing football full-time, Page attended the University of Minnesota and received his Juris Doctor in 1978. After his retirement from pro football, Page became a lawyer and was elected to the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Here's one you haven't seen from us in awhile.
Look for it in the fall.
If you're a football fan, Eagles fan or fan of Mitchell & Ness, you've probably seen the 1992 Eagles jersey with the Jerome Brown patch.
Did you know that prior to the Eagles wearing that patch, they wore a different patch on their white jerseys? We decided to change things up a little this fall and we're excited to be bringing this one in. We love the simpler, more understated patch. What do you think?
