Today is the 12th, so there's no better time to talk about who has worn the number 12. In baseball, you've got Roberto Alomar, Wade Boggs and not many others. Hockey, Marcel Dionne is probably the biggest. In basketball there are a bunch of current players who wear 12, but for legends, John Stockton is probably the biggest. But in football, it's a different story.
It's really the number of the QB don't you think? When we think of legendary quarterbacks and the jerseys that they put on every Sunday, #12 that comes to mind. If you're playing Madden and you want to create a QB, there's a good chance you'd make him #12. It just feels like the number of the quarterback.
