Forbes Magazine just released their list of the top 16 teams' sports fans in America. The fans were evaluated across the four professional sports leagues - NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. The ranking was based on teams' home/away game attendance and a team's drawing power in its home market and nationwide. Other factors involved were teams' merchandise sales and in-market popularity (based on surveys.) Once all the teams in the four leagues were ranked, Forbes took the top four teams of each league. The Boston Red Sox fans ranked #1 on the list.
