We have such an extensive library in our Mitchell & Ness office filled with magazines, newspapers, authentic game worn jerseys, vintage sports memorabilia - oh, we can go on for days. We walk through the hallways everyday bypassing a plethora of sports history and nostalgia surrounding us. I believe we can all agree that sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of every day tasks, emails, and meetings, that it is easy to forget what is all around us. And when that time comes, we need to take a step back. Slow down. Stop and look. And remember why we are all here -- remember why Mitchell & Ness is unlike any other sports apparel company.
With the 2011 NBA Finals coming to a close, we thought it would be fitting to share with our fans a few images from our vintage NBA periodicals and inspirational references that grace the bookshelves of Mitchell & Ness. Here is a little peek into our world... a time when shorts were shorter, socks were a bit higher, and A.C. Green held a Cabbage Patch Kid. Wait, what?
