Is Brooklyn in the house? Yes. Yes, it is. The man who once said, "I don't wear jerseys, I'm thirty-plus," is now going to be responsible for helping design the Brooklyn Nets' new uniforms. It was announced this week that Jay-Z will work alongside Nets brass and Adidas to help design the Nets' new uniforms for when the team moves into the Barclays Center in Brooklyn next year. From Rich Calder for The New York Post, "Jay-Z, Adidas, and the Nets are currently ironing out a logo for the Brooklyn Nets and deciding what colors their uniforms should be. No matter what, the logo will feature Brooklyn prominently because the club wants to tap into the borough's world-popular brand name, officials said."
Based on this rap mogul's talent and creativity, we are sure these uniforms will be nothing short of amazing. We are looking forward to the unveiling of the new uniforms and logo.
What do you think the new logo and uniforms should look like? We want to hear from you!
