Play Ball

While doing some reading on vacation last week, one of the Mitchell & Ness crew came across this great article in Metropolis Magazine.  It details the two new baseball stadiums in New York, how they were built, what inspired their design and lots of other interesting stuff.

If you're a fan of baseball and/or architecture, it's a great read.

Okay New York baseball fans, have you been to the new stadiums?  We haven't, so let us know what you think.

I was a little bummed to read about the "casino-like" lack of signs helping you get to your seat... meaning more chances to spend cash on the concourse.  Hello?  Tickets are enough money without the subterfuge of trying to get more $ out of fans.

But an awesome article!
